The Cause

AKUVO is proud to support the Via Stella Foundation, a Polish and American Credit Union initiative, established by representatives of Polish and American credit unions, dedicated to providing aid and assistance to refugees from Ukraine.

The Foundation strives to address urgent needs promptly by providing essentials such as first aid, food, sleeping bags, flashlights, and ambulances. In addition, they work towards long-term solutions in collaboration with cooperative savings and credit unions. This includes financial assistance for rent payments, support in acquiring school supplies, and promoting preventive healthcare measures.

We invite you to join us in supporting the Via Stella Foundation through our #Just1Post campaign. Simply comment on the post above to have $10 donated on your behalf*. For each person you tag in your comment, we will donate an additional $1.

Comment on the post above and be part of the solution. Together, let’s bring hope and support to those who need it the most.

It takes just 1 post to make a difference!

The Inspiration

We were inspired by the generosity of our Founder & CEO, Jay Mossman. Jay graciously donated $40,000 to the foundation to purchase an ambulance which helped bring Ukrainians at the Zaporizhzhia Power Plant to safety.

In addition to his direct donation, he has issued a CUSO leader challenge in hopes other leaders of CUSOs will act and donate what they can to the cause.

Hear more from Brian Branch, Susan Mitchell, and Jay Mossman in their discussion above.
