The Role

As a Project Manager, your number one goal is to make AKUVO’s customers “Raving Fans!” This focus will require you to wear many hats and deliver an exceptional customer experience to clients. Your primary responsibilities will be managing customer implementation projects and setting clearly defined expectations. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, strengthen, and foster positive relationships with customers 
  • Lead and motivate internal and external project teams 
  • Ensure customers are satisfied with products and/or services 
  • Ensure contract terms and conditions are met 
  • Create and maintain project timelines 
  • Identify and manage project risks and issues 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery 
  • Organize and coordinate project go lives 
  • Other duties as assigned 

Skills and Experience

  • BA/BS Degree in related field preferred 
  • 3+ years’ experience in project management 
  • Experience in credit union and/or banking industry is a plus 
  • Demonstrates empathic listening  
  • Communicates a sense of urgency 
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment 
  • Displays personal responsibility and pride  
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Up to 10% travel may be required 

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of experience in software project management, ideally in SaaS or FinTech.
  • Strong understanding of agile concepts (Scrum/Kanban) and traditional project management practices.
  • Familiarity with software development concepts, APIs, CI/CD, and QA/testing processes.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar.
  • Project management certification (e.g. PMP, CSM, etc) a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a small company environment, balancing multiple responsibilities and shifting priorities.
  • Candidate must be local to Malvern, PA
